One Last Month at the Brick & Mortar — Then the Pop-Up Era Begins!

As many of you know, this journey began in our mom’s backyard back in 2005 long before Phatties officially opened its doors in Escondido. What started with family recipes, a lot of hustle, and even more love grew into something far beyond what we ever imagined.

And now, after eight unforgettable years in our little brick-and-mortar home, the time has officially come to close this chapter.

💫 Phatties will be closing its Escondido location at the end of October. 💫

But don’t be too sad! This isn’t goodbye, it’s just another beginning.

We’re getting ready to roll into a whole new season of pop-ups and holiday specials, starting this November! These will be invite-only experiences, so if you haven’t yet, head to our website, scroll to the bottom, and sign up to join our invite list. You’ll get first access to every event, exclusive menus, and the exact locations sent directly to your email or text.

• October 24, 25, 26: Our second last regular weekend open at the Escondido location

• October 27–29 (Mon–Wed): Taco Dinner Nights 🌮A full taco takeover featuring all your favorites; roasted poblano, vegan adobada, phish tacos, huitlacoche, and a few new ones like our cheesy calabacita tacos, with special agua frescas like our mango passion fruit or kiwi lemonade - all made from real fruit and natural ingredients! 🌽 Holiday Pop-Ups & Specials

Our first official pop-ups will be:

• Nov. 20–21

• Dec. 5–7, more dates coming up!

Expect tamale specials, festive vegan dishes, and pre-orders for your Thanksgiving table (Nov. 26).

After that, we’ll be bringing Phatties on the road starting with Escondido and eventually popping up in different parts of San Diego. 🚚💨
